How do I play?

Move around the map and eat food or other players to grow and earn points.

You are eliminated if you hit the map boundary or another player’s body.

How do the controls work?

Computer: Move your mouse to guide your snake in the direction of the pointer. To boost, hold the left mouse button.

Mobile: Use the on-screen joystick to steer and the boost button to accelerate. You can configure the joystick for left- or right-side use.

How does boosting work?

Boosting becomes available once your score reaches 150 points, and it stops if your score falls below 120.

Computer: hold the left mouse button. Mobile: press and hold the boost button.

Boosting is not free: it costs about 125 points per second at normal size, because the cost follows the distance you travel. 60% of the score you spend is dropped behind you as food that any player, including you, can eat.

How do I choose a server?

Open the SERVERS section below the entry form on the main screen and choose a server region.

The game automatically selects the server with the lowest measured ping by default. Multiplayer sessions run continuously, so you can join a server while a game is already in progress.

Why is the game lagging?

High ping can result from selecting a distant server or using an unstable connection.

Choose the lowest-ping server available and use a stable internet connection. Reduce competing downloads or other heavy network activity where possible.

If another issue persists, reload the game and sign in again if needed. Reloading may end your current run.

Can I reconnect after losing my connection?

Yes, you can connect again. Reconnecting does not necessarily restore your previous run.

Do I need an account?

No. Guest play is available without social sign-in.

Google or Apple sign-in allows supported progress and inventory information to be accessed across devices.

What skins do I receive?

Both guest players and social-account players start with a set of free skins.

Where are my scores saved?

Guest statistics are stored in the browser used to play. They may not be available on another browser or device and can be removed when you clear site data.

Social-account progress is associated with your account and can be accessed by signing in on another device.

Can I buy skins?

Paid skin purchases are not currently available. The planned shop will require a social account for purchases and account-linked inventory.

Where are the settings?

Select the settings icon on the main screen to adjust the available options, including supported sound and performance settings.

Does signing out delete my data?

No. Signing out ends your authenticated session but does not delete your account or clear locally stored nicknames, statistics, skin selections, and preferences. To delete your account, see “How do I delete my account?”.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account yourself in the game:

  • Open the side panel and go to Profile.
  • Under Account, select Delete account.
  • Read the warning, choose whether to also delete this browser’s game data, and type DELETE.
  • Select Continue with Google or Continue with Apple and sign in with the same account to confirm.
Account deletion cannot be undone
  • Your LootLocker account, saved progress and inventory, including your skins, are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
  • Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. It cannot be cancelled or recovered.
  • Data stored in your browser (nickname, local statistics, skin choice and settings) is only removed if you choose that option while deleting your account, or when you clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
  • Your Google or Apple account is not deleted.

Guest players have no account to delete: their data is stored only in the browser and is removed when you clear this site’s data.

If you cannot access the game, email support@seasnakes.io. We may need to verify account ownership.
